Pastor's Welcome

Welcome to St. Patrick School!

On behalf of all in the parish and school, I welcome you to our community of faith, which dates back to 1872. As one of the oldest schools in the Diocese of Paterson, St. Patrick School has worked hard over the past 150 years to provide an excellent education while forming our young people in the Catholic faith. Throughout my priesthood, I have been actively engaged with parish and diocesan schools, beginning with my first assignment at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta, New Jersey, then on to St. Brendan Church in Clifton, New Jersey.

What makes St. Patrick School special is that it provides a strong academic
education while nurturing the spirit in a safe, caring community environment. We
are proud of the school’s achievements that have been accomplished over the years.
Our dedicated teachers and staff support our reputation as one of the finest Catholic schools in the diocese. The learning atmosphere at St. Patrick School is firmly rooted in the values and traditions of our Catholic faith and a desire for every student to reach their academic potential.
